Bend the Arc's Town Hall Guide

This month, Congress is coming home for February recess – this is the next moment in the resistance, and we’re preparing to make it big.

We’re partnering with MoveOn and a broad progressive coalition to flood town halls and Congressional office hours around the country this month. It's our chance to confront Members of Congress on their support of Trump’s un-American agenda, and to make sure they keep fighting for our values. Together, we get to show up and say, “The American Jewish community demands justice, equality, and democracy.”

If there isn’t a town hall in your area:

Call your representative's and/or senators' district and D.C. offices and see if they are planning on holding a public town hall or office hours.

  1. If YES, they say that they are holding a town hall or office hours, submit the details here, and we will invite nearby supporters to join you there.

  2. If you discover that NO, your members of Congress are not hosting a town hall within a reasonable distance from you, another highly effective way to keep pressure on them is to organize visits to district offices. Using our in-district meeting toolkit, you’ll have everything you need to prepare and lead a structured conversation with key Congressional staff.
