Encouraged by the amazing Women’s Marches around the world! We have much power if we can focus it. After the march was over I went past the Trump Hotel where I saw folks arriving for a Trump Inauguration Party. They were all wearing the red Trump “Make America Great Again” hats and chanting, “Hey, ho! Donald Trump runs the show!” I thought to myself, “Only if we let him. Donald Trump (and his Cabinet) works for us now!” Let's make them work for us!
I’m gathering my friends and family members for a conversation on how our community can build sustainable opposition to the Trump administration, and hold fast to our progressive values. Come meet like-minded progressive Jews and allies, share fears and hopes, and consider some ideas for taking action.
Our gathering will be one of many happening all over the country. In addition to taking stock of our local opportunities for action, these gatherings will be an opportunity to connect with Bend the Arc’s developing strategy of national resistance.
